SUNSET YAXHA & TOPOXTE TOUR
WHAT IT IS:
This tour is for those who want to enjoy two archaeological tours without trekking through the jungle. It includes a visit to Topoxté by private boat and a sunset tour at Yaxhá.
This tour begins with your pick up in your hotel in El Remate or Flores, and then it takes us to El Sombrero Ecolodge. At the lodge, we can enjoy a delicious lunch with a view, and then we embark on an adventure.
The boat will take us to Topoxté, a ceremonial Mayan site located on an island inside Yaxhá Lagoon, where we will explore the site, meditate and feel the silence of the jungle. After the Topoxté tour, the boat will take us across the lagoon towards Yaxhá, where we will do our archaeological tour and await sunset on top of temple 216.
This is an easy and beautiful tour, for those who enjoy comfort and adventure, perfect for wildlife sightseeing and sunset pictures.
